We recently announced that Dreams and Visions Press will be releasing a brand new art book featuring artworks of the entire Tomb Raider series. It will span from the conception of the original idea, until Tomb Raider: Underworld, the latest game in the series. Titled "The Art of Tomb Raider", and set for release in Spring 2009, this is a limited edition deluxe collectable art book that no fan will want to miss on.

Last month, the publishing house opened an informal blog, through which they will periodically post updates on the progress of the book, as well as some trivia snippets. For instance, one of the entries expands on "Tomb Raider - Official Art Book", a limited edition book which was only available in Japan. Most of the artworks in that art book were not part of the final Angel of Darkness release, focusing on the adventures of Lara, which took place after the storyline contained in the final version of the game. It's in the plans of Dreams and Visions to include these artworks and to clarify what they were, as well as providing details on the extended storyline.
