Angelina Jolie is considering returning to the critically-panned TOMB RAIDER franchise - because she loves the LARA CROFT character so much.

Both audiences and reviewers responded unenthusiastically to the sequel, LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER: THE CRADLE OF LIFE, when it was released this summer 2003 - but Angelina remains loyal to her action packed role.

She says, "I'd never say never because I love that character. It wasn't a bad movie, it just didn't come out at the right time. I think it's a much better film, so I don't think you can put too much weight on how something opens. At the end of the day I don't take it so seriously."
